Is it true that lifting whieghts can keep you from fully growing?!?!?!?!?

??????????...
Answer:
Not that I know of. Although it is true that lifting them improperly or lifting too much is unhealthy and can cause injury. Otherwise, there's nothing really wrong with it.
ONLY IF UR UNDER 13 YEARS OLD
yes, that is totally true, but u can start lifting weights when u r like 16 or 17.
if you lift wieghts when your young youll prbly end up being short... but if your around 17 18 then i dont think itll effect you just make your muscels a lil bigger lol
NO, but using anabolic steroids can. That is how that whole myth got started. Young men who used the 'roids' stunted their growth, but they associated it with the weights.
lifting and working out is fine just no added stuff like creatine or steroids ur best bet if u just want to add a lil more size if things go slow add some protien to ur diet or a lil bit of a powder but not much till ur body is done growing around 16 to 18
Bones have growth centers located near, but not at, each end. It is possible to damage the growth center by lifting weights. So care is needed.
it have nothing to do with your being tall or short but it better to start at ages lder than 16 and don't you ever, ever try to get into using some chemical to bulk up because most of the time that is the one that will really, really stunt your growth, you will really bulk up and be the talk of your friends and you will think its cool but behind your back people are talking about what you are doing and laughing at you for looking like a big green hulky monster. girls don't like it bulky they like it tone and fit.. ask your girlfriend.
why you interested to that matter?whatever you have be satisfied, its better to be you than trying harder,,,,,,,
"They" are saying now that it will not. It used to be believed to stunt growth. ~GL
