Actually , you could of gotten a girlfriend in highschool.Most people I know did.

Yes , I would say you would need a girlfriend but you can also find girlfriends around 19-21.Just don't screw up in your first year of college or many people wouldn't like you.I would probably suggest you to get one before your college graduation or so,You can find one while at work when your older too.

But you should really decide when you should get one.You wouldn't really know until you are friends with a girl you like.
